Crucifix-themed candlesticks were popular at the time of the Republic’s final voyage and were commonly used in private homes for personal devotions as well as in convents and churches. A select number of these original pieces are on display in Odyssey’s traveling exhibit and will remain in the company’s permanent artifact collection.
