Florida artist Michele Palenik of Purple Cloud Studio brings her creative spirit and marine biology degree together in crafting this stunning piece. The fused glass featured is hand -selected from bottle shards found on the wreck site of the SS Republic. Over 175 different bottle types were among the many artifacts Odyssey recovered during the excavation in Atlantic waters nearly 1,700 feet deep. While many intact bottles (including perfume, preserves and patent medicines ) were recovered hundreds that did not remain in one piece have become part of this artisan jewelery collection. Each specially packaged item is signed by Michele and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
