Created with glass recovered from the famous Civil War era shipwreck SS Republic.
Florida artist and trained marine biologist, Michele Palenik of Purple Cloud Studios created this stunning piece using hand-selected pieces of glass recovered from the shipwreck of the SS Republic, nearly 1700 feet deep. While many intact bottles, including perfume, preserves and patent medicines were recovered, some bottles did not survive the shipwreck. These glass fragments were recovered and are now part of this unique jewelry.
Each piece is signed by the artist and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, story card and is packaged in an SS Republic presentation box.
